America Goes Green

In the UK, we’ve been cleaning green for sometime, and it turns out the US are finally catching on!

It has been revealed recently that environmentally friendly household cleaning products are on the up in the US with sales and revenue ringing in a whopping $557 million over the past year.

Americans are infected with the green bug and according to Don Montuori, publisher of Packaged Facts, it will only continue to get bigger and could gross as much as $2 billion by 2014.

Despite these green cleaning figures only relating to 3% of overall cleaning products, the huge increase in sales for green products of 229% over the last four years still leaves us on an eco high!
