Eco Fashion Takes on a Whole New Level

Hannah Sandling, author and stylist to the stars is usually more at home in this season’s Cavalli but she has recently donned a dress made from…cloths!

And this ‘cloth couture’ is all in the name of the environment as it’s truly the UK’s greenest dress. It’s made entirely from cleaning giant Vileda’s new Naturals range of products. It showcases everything from kitchen cloths to mop tassles!

Lindsey Taylor, one of Vileda’s Clever Cleaning Experts, said: “Fashion can be green too! I think the dress looks fantastic. It’s a great way to celebrate the launch of our new Naturals products.”

The dress was made by Sarah Gallagher – a graduate from Manchester Metropolitan University an ‘up and coming’ fashion designer who said: “I thought it would be great to create a garment that reflects the growing trend for being environmentally friendly.

“You don’t need expensive new textiles to make something beautiful, as you can craft a great looking outfit simply from dishcloths. It was wonderful using Vileda for all the materials as its premium products mean that my dress won’t fall to pieces!”
