According to our nationwide study of domestic duties, the average British woman mops nearly 26 miles of floor each year. This equates to a staggering 1,150 miles of mopping in a lifetime!
The kitchen floor of an average student house contains six million bacteria – more than is found on a public toilet seat.
Women spend an average of 6.14 hours a week on domestic chores, compared to men who regularly spend 5.95 hours.
More than half of us (57%) are now regularly using eco-friendly cleaning products.
